MIKE CRUZ, Ph.D.

SVP, CHIEF METHODOLOGIST

Mike brings over 30 years of experience to Hansa clients. He directs both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of custom research engagements including survey design, analysis, and presentation. He is responsible for innovation in research design, the development of analysis plans tailored to client needs and the translation of analytic output into actionable recommendations for business implementation. Mike has expertise in a broad range of analytic techniques including segmentation, structural equation modeling, nonlinear models, choice modelling, and Monte Carlo simulation.

Mike was previously research director and worldwide head of forecasting for GartnerG2. At Gartner, he was responsible for developing forecasts that used vendor and supply projections and consumer demand projections to create a comprehensive picture of future markets in the retail, consumer technology, finance and health verticals.

Prior to joining Gartner, Mike was a faculty member in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and Master and Doctoral degrees in communication from Michigan State University.
